Studio KKD highlights office ‘hotelification’ for new Grosvenor workplaces
A new workspace offering introduces six unique ‘Flex by Grosvenor’ spaces to Mayfair and Belgravia.
Studio KKD has partnered with office provider Grosvenor to introduce a new workspace offering that focuses on flexibility and hospitality – aiming to stand out with a unique identity and ability to adapt to future changes in a rapidly evolving market. The collaboration has resulted in six unique ‘Flex by Grosvenor‘ workspaces so far in London’s Mayfair and Belgravia. The latest offering at Mayfair’s 50 Grosvenor Hill features an ‘Internal Garden’ concept, with lush greenery and vibrant patterns focusing on wellbeing. A ‘premium’ experience is emphasised, balancing functionality with comfort and richness in colour, materials and furniture selection. In the social areas, a variety of soft seating offers a place to lounge and dine during the day, designed to transition into an event space in the evening.
The design focuses on creating environments that feel as inviting as home yet exude the vibrancy of a members’ club, created to cater to diverse needs and personalities and offering a variety of physical and visual stimuli. “We view this as the ‘hotelification’ of the office,” explains James Scott, associate director at Studio KKD, “seamlessly blending the comforts of home, hospitality features, and service-oriented offerings into our workspace design.” Spaces for collaboration and interaction are interweaved into the floor plans, changing the visual pace and creating points of interest between private office spaces.
“Flexibility is a core principle of the design strategy,” adds Scott, “as workspace zones can be adapted to the customers’ need for space and evolving requirements –creating a rich experience for its members, with a strong sense of belonging and community.”
