Eskdale Terrace by FaulknerBrowns Architects
Mixology North21 Project of the Year Finalist: Living Interiors
Eskdale Terrace is a an independent later-living development for PegasusLife, comprising 63 apartments within a building that is socially driven and environmentally responsive, crafting a new piece of suburban architecture driven by wellness and community.
Inspired by the historic context of the site the scheme delivers a modern interpretation of Victorian vernacular. From the street to apartment, the Victorian influences carries through and ensures that both architecture and interior design are truly symbolic. Inspired by the reduced ornamentation of the Japanese style of the later Victorian period, the clean lines and sharp material tectonics of the interiors create a timeless richness to the space.
