As another design-packed year comes to a close, we celebrate the most read projects over the last 12 months.
Having manufactured luxury beds for over 100 years, Hypnos Contract Beds is internationally renowned as an expert in manufacturing pocket sprung mattresses and divans for the finest hotels and homes around the world.
As a Royal Warrant holder, Hypnos Contract Beds combines traditional skills with constant innovation and uses premium natural and sustainable materials to create some of the most comfortable and sustainable beds on the planet.
In fact, the ethical company is considered an industry-leader when it comes to matters of sustainability, priding itself on producing beds which are 100% recyclable and never need go to landfill as a result. Additionally, the company was the first carbon neutral bedmaker in the world, and both its factories has achieved FSC® and PEFC certification, ensuring timber is sourced from managed forests.
In 2019, the brand has increased its sustainability commitment by partnering with Red Tractor Food and Farming Standards in an industry first that has seen Hypnos create the pioneering Origins Collection.
This range of residential mattresses uses the most responsibly sourced materials possible, including 100% British wool that’s traceable right back to Red Tractor assured farms. In addition, Hypnos Contract Beds also produces the specialist Ashbourne hospitality mattress which features generous layers of sustainable natural wool fillings that are synonymous with the company’s decade-long pioneering journey into sustainable manufacturing.
