Workplace Creations – Mazars Edinburgh

Taking the space from a clean CAT A state meant Workplace Creations had a blank canvas to work with when applying Mazars’ design guide. The brief was to create a multi-use and collaborative space that encouraged idea sharing amongst colleagues. The practice specifically considered the approach to the building from street level and enhanced the view of the office from here through feature lighting which helps create a statement visual from the outside. This feature lighting, in addition to biophilia, give the sense of connection with the outside where it was lacking visually. The introduction of tiered seating allows for town hall meetings, team collaborations and socialising, while curtains allow for the space to be used for multiple activities at the same time.
