The North Sea is now proudly home to the world’s largest offshore wind farm, the awe-inspiring Dogger Bank Wind Farm. Situated approximately 130 kilometres (80 miles) off the Yorkshire coast, this monumental wind energy project boasts an incredible capacity of 3.6 GW, supplying clean, renewable electricity to power over 4.5 million homes throughout the UK.

For this ambitious endeavour, Ryder and Ward Robinson designed a sustainable support facility, spanning 1,960sqm of warehouse space and 1,420sqm of offices, achieving net zero in both embodied and operational carbon. This facility now serves as a vital operations and maintenance base, including marine vessel access, where their focus was on both functionality and visually captivating interior spaces.
