In 2019, Clifford Chance initiated plans to relocate its Newcastle team to new premises that would support the firm’s long term business strategy and be reflective of its brand. The Cat B fit out was successfully completed in the Ryder Architecture designed Lumen building at Newcastle Helix.
The relocation involved the design of a tailored space, which includes a contemporary reception, client meeting rooms, and a boardroom. A spacious social hub adjoins the reception, with versatile seating and a fully equipped kitchen.
An adjacent training and town hall area, equipped with sliding folding screens, accommodates office gatherings. Thoughtfully positioned workstations around the floor’s perimeter complement breakout and collaboration zones that offer panoramic city views.
Complementing these features are additional amenities, including a post room, tea point, reflection room, meeting rooms and private phone booths. This revitalised space enhances colleague wellbeing and fostering a productive work environment.
