Each year, hospitals use and throw out thousands of kilos of blue wrap – the material that hospitals use to keep surgical instruments sterile. By working with Bywyd, a climate neutral technology provider, Vepa are proud to launch Blue Finn.
Made from 85% recycled blue wrap, the chair offers a carbon reduction of approximately 35% compared to virgin plastic. Blue Finn’s individual components are designed in such a way that they can easily be separated and reused at the end of their life – the seat and shells can both be shredded to create new components.
Blue Finn is part of a diverse collection of chairs made from recycled plastics, all of which are made in Vepa’s factories in the Netherlands.
