When specified as decorative chipboard, it also enjoys a construction from 100% recovered wood made possible by an innovative supply chain and production technologies. That means, for every Master Oak panel specified, not a single tree is felled but projects still get to enjoy the authentic look of oak. “Recovered wood is wood and wood waste that is no longer usable for someone else and we therefore save it from incineration,” says Unilin. “We give it an extra life by using it as raw material for new products. This means that 4,000 trees are saved from being felled each day.”
