The Vices – The Vices, York

The Vices York is a private hotel concept, comprising three individually styled suites that follow the complex narrative of gender. The First Suite is a nod to neutrality, with clean lines and glass fixtures. This transitions to a cocoon of warmth and femininity in the Second Suite with plush velvets and comforting cotton – contrasting to the hardness of the Third Suite, with a pure brass bed and rough-cut marble floor.

The hotel, bar and dining space have been designed for an intimate crowd. Its wine library plays host to only six guests and yet houses over 200 bottles of Italian wine, with the entire space being an ode to the wine making process – with oak, clay and brass adorning the space.

Considering all five senses in the design approach, The Vices York presents an immersive experience in order to leave its guests truly captivated.
