Hiscox’s new 38,000 sq ft London office at 22 Bishopsgate is a physical expression of the company’s culture, energy and ambition.
The workplace’s unique sculptural design – the vision of Oliver Marlow who led the Studio TILT team – connects Hiscox’s colleagues and clients in an inclusive way while creating an immersive platform to showcase its extensive art collection.
Oliver curated a group of design disciplines and, collaborated with an internal team of Hiscox employees through a ‘Creative Board’ that got under the skin of the brand.
The project stands apart as an exemplar in sustainability, designed to the WELL Building Standard, prioritising reuse and recycling to reduce the carbon footprint, with an overall scheme reduction from 3 to 1.5 floors achieved through hybrid working.
Along with Studio TILT, this project brought together Ciszak Dalmas, Ferrari Studio, Studio ZNA and Workform to deliver an environment with people at its heart.
