Award-winning hospitality design specialists Studio Found worked with Woodhead Restaurant Group to build – and design from scratch – a French bistro-inspired restaurant in London’s Fitzrovia. On the site of an old travel agent, 64 Goodge Street has seating for 44 guests as well as a private dining room in the basement, so far receiving exceptional reviews from critics and customers for its food, wine and service as well as its interior design.
Its deep green shop front evokes British countryside meets Parisian bistro, while inside the restaurant is both luxurious and timeless with rustic touches taking its cues from head chef, Stuart Andrew, and his culinary inspirations from time spent in Paris. Through considered choice of materials from ‘farmhouse-style’ features such as combination brick and rough timber flooring and sawn timber planks for dining tables, to classic finishes such as aged brass and marble, this is the most design-focused of all Woodhead’s restaurants.
