Tag transform ideas into exceptional experiences for their clients, but their existing workplace didn’t reflect this no longer supported their unique requirements, in particular their need for both light and dark spaces. Much of their team spends hours producing and editing creative content, with many sitting in almost pitch-black environments.
Spacelab_ has delivered a space that is completely tailored to Tag. Inspired by the movement and fluidity in Tag’s logo animation, spacelab_ developed a concept called the ‘wave wall’, where the organic strokes strategically divide the floor plates horizontally into two distinct light and dark zones. The light and dark theme creates a theatrical experience throughout for visitors and clients, encapsulating the nature of Tag’s work and creating instant impact.
Sustainability was also a big part of the brief. Spacelab_ managed to reuse 50% of the furniture, and created a feature ceiling in the reception from recycled light fittings.
