Taking over two floors within the new development, The Lantern, Bauer Media’s workspace brings together its audio, publishing and commercial businesses into one central site for the very first time, lighting the way for even greater creativity and collaboration. Born from the idea that everyone has their moment to shine, Spacelab created a workspace experience that celebrates the art of performing and offers a variety of settings and spaces that cater to different types of work, distinguishing between on-stage and off-stage moments.
On-stage moments are represented by vibrant and colourful interventions, creating a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere for presentations, collaboration and performances. Off-stage moments, on the other hand, are the spaces in between; desking, support spaces and circulation routes including a new central staircase, which are intentionally neutral and minimal by design and provide a blank canvas for the individual brands to pop through the use of digital signage. Bauer also prioritised a technology-first approach by investing in a performance space, 17 radio studios, and a video room dedicated to radio and online content creation. The social area, meeting rooms, and collaboration areas are all seamlessly integrated with technology that allows for hybrid meetings and video conferencing.
