This project creates a brand new HQ workspace in the heart of The Fragrance Shop’s brand new distribution warehouse in Trafford, Manchester. The project set out to prove that a large industrial shed could be a desirable place to work for staff providing a stimulating environment with state-of-the-art amenities that enhance their wellbeing.

The key to unlocking the space was to use the unique opportunity of the height and volume of the industrial shed to connect the 3 floors together through an open atrium. This space acts as the communal hub from morning to eventing creating a place where the entire 400 workforce can come together. Floors are linked together via timber bleecher seats with a large aperture on the 1st floor connecting to the second through which ‘The Fragrance Tree’ grows through, acting as a sensual link and key feature.
