Shaw Contract – Floor Architecture II

Mixology22 Product of the Year Finalist: Flooring

Shaw Contract-Floor Architecture II carpet tiles

Floor Architecture II references a consideration of nature-inspired elements. The collection was inspired by the act of bringing together the forms of natural stone, polished concrete, pebbles and small rocks. This EMEA-designed collection is about the story of the intersection between nature and man-made: it was influenced by the materials, surfaces and human interventions we then want to bring in. Stone is directly inspired by paving stones and the unique patterns that can be created through laying out different pieces of natural stone to create more geometric and organised patterns. Fragment has a hybrid appearance inspired by polished concrete and small stones – the uneven distribution that comes from a scattered, random effect and creates a subtle design that is tonal but intriguing.

Floor Architecture II comes in a range of warm and cool neutrals in a 50×50 cm tile format with style Stone available in 6 colours and style Fragment in 9 colours. Both designs offer easy to use installation options – and are approved for install methods monolithic, quarter turn, ashlar, brick and random.
