Scott Brownrigg – Expedia Group, London

Mixology22 Project of the Year Finalist: Workplace over 70,000 sq ft

Scott Brownrigg - Expedia Group

Expedia undertook a full refurbishment of their 250,000 sq ft office in Angel to provide a workplace that matched its progressive company vision. The office is a stunning example of how traditional desk-based workplace has been replaced with a work point focused solution.

Tailored to the needs of Expedia Group’s staff, the design for the new London office is truly people-centric, catering for a wide range of working styles and needs, with a variety of social spaces engineered to encourage trusting relationships to develop across the business.

Inspired by cultures from all over the world, this project is a true celebration of culture, Inclusion and diversity which truly reflects Expedia Group’s brand, workforce and values. The ‘wanderlust’ concept, and the creation of different ‘destinations’ in the office means that anyone should be able to find an area within the building that relates and appeals to them making it an inclusive, fun and vibrant workspace to be in. Wellbeing spaces include dedicated multi-faith spaces and rooms for mothers contribute to this inclusive and enriching environment for staff.
