The Arcade Food Hall at Battersea Power Station blends American dining with touches of Italian and Oriental influences, through a careful selection of warm, earthy tones and opulent textures, the interiors were designed to exude comfort and elegance. Furnished with rustic Italian-inspired arches and delicate Oriental screens, the layout of the food hall encourages social interaction and exploration, with open spaces inviting patrons to gather and enjoy the diverse culinary offerings. Meanwhile, intimate alcoves and seating arrangements offer moments of privacy and tranquility. Overall, the project seats 500 people and features 13 cuisines, two bars, three restaurants, and a private dining room on the first level.
Innovative approaches to tile installation were also pivotal in the creation of the Arcade Food Hall’s bespoke panels: leveraging advanced water jet cutting technology, the project team meticulously customised the porcelain tiles to fit seamlessly into predefined panels, optimising material usage and consciously minimising waste.
