Perkins&Will

Winner

Mixology23 Design Practice of the Year – Over 50 Employees

Over the last 12 months the London studio of Perkins&Will has delivered designs and secured new work across a breadth of sectors, with exceptional growth in the life sciences market. The studio also welcomed Jo Wright as its new, and first female managing director, who led the team in their move to 150 Holborn, a new building designed by Perkins&Will itself.

Perkins&Will continues to be a leader in sustainable design, winning the Hotel Design’s Eco Award for its work in the hospitality sector, which includes partnering with the EEA Partnership to create a BREEAM accreditation for hotel design.

Following the strategic hire of Raj Deb (Principal, Science and Technology) in early 2022, Perkins&Will’s Science and Technology department has had an exceptional period, smashing sales targets for the year by 340%.

Last year saw the integration of the Penoyre&Prasad brand with Perkins&Will, bolstering the organisation’s architecture expertise, particularly across the healthcare and education sectors. The team completed PEARL, the Person Environment Activity Research Laboratory, crowned as University College London‘s (UCL) first net-zero carbon in-use building.
