ōpenhōme
ōH concept lifestyle pop-up is a curated retail store and experience space in Chester dedicated to fostering a community of design lovers and conscious shoppers.
Produced in collaboration by MONIKA Studio and the OpenHome Group, the ōH concept store used ‘the principle of designing for disassembly’ and pushed on the idea of re-use and upcycling in its production.
Previously fitted out as a hairdresser salon, the ōH concept lifestyle pop-up contains reused items including hairdressers’ mirrors, glazed screen dividers and footrails, which add to the store’s overall creative appearance.
Passionate about its location, the store represents community issues, sustainability, and other matters held dear to the ‘15 Minute City’, OpenHome and Monika Studio.
