Set within a 21-hectare reserve on a 2.2-kilometre exclusive beachfront in Glyfada, the ultra-luxury resort of One&Only Aesthesis occupies the original site of the iconic Asteria beach club, dating back to the 1950s. The interior concept seamlessly weaves six elemental forces of nature throughout, captivating with the dance of fire, the essence of water, the earthy tones of wood and stone, the gentle presence of air, hand-forged metal, and the mesmerising light of Greece. Drawing inspiration from mid-century design, the lobby’s architecture pays homage to the cosmopolitan essence of the Riviera, featuring high ceilings, woven leather accents, and a harmonious blend of muted tones.

Sustainability was embedded into the design from the beginning, with the resort earning both LEED and SITES certification. The original architecture was renovated using locally sourced materials, with most of the buildings constructed from timber. As well as two living green roofs, the natural surroundings have been protected by the careful removal and replanting of any existing trees during the construction process, while 200,000 Mediterranean and native species have additionally been planted throughout the resort and chosen for their low water requirements.
