Mowat & Co – Beringea, London

Mixology22 Project of the Year Finalist: Workplace Sub-5,000 sq ft

Mowat & Company designed this transatlantic venture capitalist’s office to be a breath of fresh air in office design. Achieving the client’s business and design objectives to bring connection and wellness to the space and driving them into the future. The Drury Lane office is packed with exceptional, original, design features such as a living wall that spans the length and height of the main office and a circular meeting room to encourage debate and conversation. A variety of different working zones have been incorporated for every type of new and traditional working styles. Each working zone helps to connect and feel connected. Whether it be face-to-face, video conferencing or connecting to nature. Mowat & Company’s creative and original design marry with the client’s need for practicality, sustainability, empowerment and staff wellness.

The exceptional design of the office was inspired by sustainability and connection. The approach to the reception doubles as the approach to the board room. Often seen as intimidating, the choice to put the board room on the entrance was to ensure the space has a welcoming feel.
