Morgan Lovell, Three UK, Gleeds and CBRE – Three HQ, Reading

Mixology22 Project of the Year Finalist: Design & Build

Morgan Lovell, Three UK, Gleeds & CBRE-Three HQ

From bid to completion in 12 months, Morgan Lovell designed and built out 117,000 sq ft of offices over five floors, for Three Workspace. Their sustainable design represents a true future workspace, blending smart technology with a simulating, inclusive and flexible human experience.

Visitors to the offices encounter an illusion chandelier depicting Three UK’s logo in 500 acrylic rods, suspended in the high-tech reception area. The reception design and build integrates with a smart app and connects visitors with their host.

From reception, a tunnel invites a glimpse of what lies ahead. The tunnel is surrounded to the sides and overhead by programmable, colour-changing lights which deliver an animated journey, welcoming people to the visitor quarter.

“A continuous canvas of connected moments” and fluid work zones trigger different emotions through tailored colours and lighting. The result is a gradient of experiences achieved through materials, colours, fabrics and lighting. From the neon lit, high energy atmosphere games zone to the peace, tranquillity and comfort of the yoga studio and Sanctuary.
