MoreySmith has worked collaboratively with Sony Music for over three decades, delivering bespoke workspaces including its former Kensington HQ. In 2018, MoreySmith was commissioned to support the company in relocating, ultimately landing in Kings Cross.
Home to 1,000 employees, the new building brings together all of Sony Music’s labels and teams under one roof for the first time, to create a world-class workplace experience. Each label and company, including RCA, Columbia and Ministry of Sound, has been given its own unique branded visual identity with a custom-designed space.

Following extensive workplace analysis, MoreySmith addressed specific requirements across the business. Flexibility, a variety of work settings, facilities that prioritise wellbeing, aesthetics and brand identity were at the forefront of aspirations. Initial design proposals and recommendations were only accelerated following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new workspace has transformed Sony’s working culture, creating a flexible and creative space people are proud to work.
