MOGU – Pluma

Mixology North23: Product of the Year – Surfaces

Mogu’s cutting-edge technology is based on mycelium, the vegetative stage of mushrooms. Over the years, the manufacturer has identified effective protocols to monitor the growth of these amazing organisms – and in line with that, have learned to engineer the properties of the resulting materials. Enter, the new PLUMA panels, which thanks to their limited thickness and modular design allow for infinite looks and compositions, meeting the needs of any space. Furthermore, due to the latest innovation implemented, the customisation possibilities of PLUMA panels is endless. It is possible to imprint your texture on the mycelium, to obtain a completely unique product. The mycelium is naturally white, but specifiers can choose from a wide palette of colours. Mogu has looked at the beautiful tones of water, forests, earth and sand to design a natural range of colours including blue and green earth tones and warm/cold neutrals with subtle variations, and calm and desaturated hues.
