This year MLA celebrated its first anniversary in its Manchester office (which has grown by 50% and relocated to a new premises), as well as the practice’s 70th anniversary, with a party held at one of its award-winning projects, The Johnny Walker Experience. In the past year, MLA has seen 85% of repeat business and secured several new high-profile clients. The practice has been shortlisted in the Architects Journal and won many awards, including The Best Regeneration Project in the commercial category for its work on Rosebank Distillery. MLA has also adopted a 9-day-fortnight approach to enhance efficiency and promote healthier working patterns, offering staff one day per fortnight off work to spend how they wish.
