Modern Movement is a carbon neutral carpet plank collection designed and manufactured in Wigan, UK. Milliken’s in-house designers – Helen Lloyd and Kathryn Tyms – used the American design movement, mid-century Modern, as their muse.
Characterised by clean lines, angular structures, minimalistic aesthetics and simple forms – Modern Movement’s influence is seen in the geometric shapes and asymmetrical compositions forming the collection’s contemporary patterns.
The collection is made up of two designs: ‘Crossing Lines’ and ‘Simple Lines’, both of which feature a criss-cross effect across the floor plane resulting in a streamlined aesthetic combined with a rich dimensional texture.
