Lammhults has in the last year trailblazed furniture manufacturing with four new products, Bau, Geofanti, Taburett Plus and Tension. What has been distinct about the Lammhults approach is the collaboration of the factory team with designers. The new designs have been developed by designers which include the most established right through to brand new talent. Lammhults is a unique manufacturer that offers not only a scholarship to new commers, which gives them access to the product development team and the workshop for a year, but it then also continues to mentor and support. In 2023-24 Lammhults commissioned the design of a new product by scholarship winner Gustav Winsth. The Tension trolley launched in Feb 2024 is testament to how successful the Lammhults approach has been. This forward thinking is critical to supporting new talent and their understanding of the production process which in turn is crucial to the manufacturing industry.
