Koncept ID – Radisson, Liverpool

Radisson RED Liverpool presents the conversion of the iconic North Western Hotel, a ten storey, grade II listed 19th century building connected to Liverpool Lime Street station. Koncept ID has transformed the building’s previous use as student accommodation into a stylish 201-bed boutique hotel, with 5 meeting rooms and a restaurant.

A raw aesthetic that honoured the building’s original features was used, softened with luxurious materials including marbles, velvets, leathers and sumptuous rugs to create a decadent feel. Creating welcoming and engaging reception, lounge and restaurant environments were balanced with celebrating the impressive high ceilings, by using feature suspended lights to create more intimate spaces. The Victorian-Renaissance building’s six metre high, stained-glass windows flood the grand sandstone staircase with natural light.
