Liverpool is the latest addition to Albert’s Schloss, joining their successful venues in Manchester and Birmingham. JSA’s design team played a crucial role in developing the original concept for the venues in collaboration with Mission Mars. The former British Gas headquarters was vacant for several months before undergoing a u00a33m renovation to become a Bavarian ‘party palace’. Albert’s Schloss is a welcome addition to the lively culture of Bold Street and a popular destination in the city centre.
At ground level, the main bar catches the eye with its feature lighting and copper tanks of fresh Pilsner Bier. The large stage with velvet curtains provides live entertainment seven days a week. Like Birmingham, the first-floor mezzanine is home to Ludwig’s Tavern bar offering artisan Schnapps, a vermouth bar, shuffleboard, and other tavern games. The grand Anglo-Bavarian design, curated through materiality, creates the iconic ‘Schloss’ feel.
