JRA and x+why worked in partnership with Salford City Council (SCC) on their new flexible office spaces at 100 Embankment as one of the final stages in the strategic regeneration of the wider Greengate neighbourhood. A fit out spanning across three floors reflects their ambition, shared values, providing not just an office, but a home for the Business as a Force for Good in the northwest.

The team re-imagined 100 Embankment’s existing reception area, bringing life and atmosphere to it with a self serve coffee bar and original mural by a local artist portraying history and values of Salford decorating the back wall. The main office spaces offer a variety of working set ups filled with abundant natural plants and a material palette to energise and inspire users. The fit out was completed on a tight timeframe, turned around in just 6 months, without forgoing design flair or commitment to sustainability.
