JOLIE – The Nest, Frankfurt

The Nest is a sensory-led restaurant concept in Frankfurt, designed as a temporary structure with a five-year lifespan. JOLIE overcame the unique structural challenges presented by its location above an underground car park by employing lightweight, modular materials that allow for future relocation, minimising environmental impact and enhancing sustainability. The design seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor elements, featuring natural light, greenery and tactile surfaces such as the striking red gloss bar which anchors the design. Ambient lighting paired with curated soundscapes and scents creates an immersive, multi-sensory experience, offering a haven within the busy urban landscape of Frankfurt.
