Interaction

Mixology23 Design Practice of the Year – Over 50 Employees

The past year has seen Interaction step up a league by winning major-league projects with their unique approach. Putting sustainability at the heart of their strategy, growing their senior team, and expanding far beyond their roots in the southwest, 22-23 proved a successful year for Interaction, who in total completed 435,000 sq ft of design and build.

In the past 12 months Interaction’s projects have included creating flagship offices for a variety of professional services, technology and financial organisations, including: the Institute of Physics Publishing, Immersive Labs, Umberslade, Precision Resource Group, Jacobs, Vistra, TCN, Fleetcor, Civica, Withers & Rogers and Ovo. In addition, Interaction has partnered with high growth co-working operators like Runway East to create unique community-focused co-working spaces across the UK.

From a sustainability perspective, Interaction submitted their BCorp certification and forged a sustainability strategy to become a carbon positive business, while also allocating a pot of £150,000 to sustainable causes made up of donations, time in kind and fundraising. The next step for the company is to reduce carbon in their supply chain by working with suppliers.
