Mixology23 Project of the Year: Living

Project Team

  • Getliving, Mace, Qatari Diar, Delancey, Hurley Palmer Flatt -MEP Engineer, Walsh Associates – Structural Engineer, Knauf, Domus, Amtico, Object Carpet

Portlands Place is the latest addition to Get Living’s East Village build-to-rent development in East London. ID:SR designed the entrance lobbies and amenity spaces, including co-working and social spaces, a skybridge and roof terraces.

The entrance design for Skylark Point, one of the scheme’s two blocks, allows for a touch-down concierge service, with convenient table and lounge area for residents upon arrival. The lobby of the other block, Hightail Point, provides further concierge facilities, post and parcel boxes, along with informal meeting, short-term working and socialising spaces for residents. The unique Skybridge is a leafy oasis of wellness, creativity, and stunning city views.

At Portlands Place there is a modern fitness studio, screening room and a bookable kitchen and dining room. The Skybridge and adjacent lounges in T1 Skylark and T2 Highpoint reinforce the unity of the two buildings, rather than highlight the transition between them while the lounges are treated as a single functional space where residents can meet, wait or relax for a few hours.
