One Braham is a pivotal project in BT’s radical rethinking of its estate, illustrating the company’s new generation of people- focused workspaces, with agility, inclusion and wellness design principles at their heart. ID:SR Sheppard Robson was appointed to BT’s framework in 2018 to work across The Better Workplace Programme, which is consolidating BT Group’s UK footprint from more than 300 locations to around 30.

As the principal “Hub” project, BT’s new London HQ – a new 328,000sqft office at One Braham, an 18 storey building near Aldgate East Station – has trailblazed the design for the rest of the portfolio, providing a flexible and people-focused approach to hybrid working, embracing future working in the digital world.

The project has successfully fulfilled BT’s brief to bring together people in brilliant, inspiring and useful spaces. The radical rethinking and modernisation of the telecoms company eschews traditional workplace thinking in favour of innovation.
