Established in London, Icons of Denmark address the need for workplace furniture that doesn’t compromise on function or quality. The brand’s designers – the latest and greatest in contemporary Danish design – share Icon of Denmark’s ambition to create furniture that is timeless in design, while also sustainable and functional. In 2018 they became part-owner of an upholstery and carpentry production in Denmark, resulting in greater control and a better understanding of manufacturing methods while improving quality and environmental standards. As part of their audit for ISO14001 (a status they have achieved since 2019) Icons of Denmark are ambitiously working towards several goals including sourcing more sustainable materials than ever before, reducing their carbon emissions by over 60% and eliminating single plastics in their packaging.
