With a focus on supporting retail businesses, optimising selection and discoverability for customers, and assisting selling partners and category teams, the design of this new office for a global technology client consolidates its workforce under one roof in Iași, Romania. Located in the Palas Campus, this project constitutes a collaborative centre for over 4,000 employees to continue innovating with cutting-edge technologies. Each block of the campus has a look and feel inspired by the different regions of the city – the Old Town, Industrial District, Seven Hills and University District. The result is a campus as diverse and vibrant as its city.

Stories of Iași-based and brand-centric innovations are woven seamlessly through the space in curated, experiential graphics and local artwork. The success of the design lies in the connection of architectural features, sustainability, illustrative moments, and furniture that together creates a cohesive, innovative and inspiring experience for employees. The project is economically sustainable and community-oriented by involving local teams of architects, engineers and contractors in the construction of the largest office building in Romania. This collaboration has significantly benefited the local economy, creating jobs for over 2,000 people and supporting nearby artists through the commissioning of over 200 pieces of artwork. The project’s mixed-use, transit-oriented design also enhances pedestrian accessibility and promotes public transportation.
