HUT Architecture – 18 Clerkenwell Close

HUT transformed an underused building in Clerkenwell into a welcoming, healthy office that prioritises comfort and well-being. The design departs from traditional corporate office styles, blending the comfort of home with spaces for creativity, innovation and interaction, bridging the gap between home and office work. The building, with a rich history dating back to 1866 as the Watercress and Flower Girls’ Christian Mission, incorporates repurposed steel beams and extended brick walls. Natural materials and earthy tones create a calming atmosphere, enhancing sustainability and air quality.
