Hunts Office – TP Health

Mixology22 Project of the Year Finalist: Workplace 5,000-15,000 sq ft

An inspiring workspace that aligns with TP Health’s growth in the occupational health sector, supporting innovative thinking and a prosocial culture. Utilising the existing space more efficiently and introducing flexible working components were high on the list of priorities for TP Health’s new office. Attention to detail was essential throughout the design process to ensure that all office elements were included for a specific purpose. The light, airy workspace incorporates primary and secondary brand colours, in contrast to the dark, moody hub that has a hospitality feel, an area where employees can step away from work, enjoy a game of pool and unwind. It was important to maintain existing interior features including exposed brickwork whilst also highlighting striking views of the countryside. Greenery was included to establish a stronger connection with the natural environment and help rejuvenate employees.

The goal was to create a very neutral, warm, and homely space which Hunts achieved by specifying products that have a very residential look and feel. The use of natural wood shades, wall coverings, different type of lighting and materials allowed us to achieve this. The hub space approach was the complete opposite – this space needed to feel quite different, giving the impression of stepping away from your desk and hanging out with friends in a social bar like setting. Hunts achieved this by turning the use of materials on its head and going down the moody and industrial look and feel.
