Stride.VC, a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting budding entrepreneurs, commissioned HOP to create their very first workplace, with a brief of prioritising comfort, style and wellness, combining residential warmth with high end hotel-like amenities. To execute this brief, HOP worked with lead designer Haley McLane and Stride.VC to create a calming, yet bold and human-centric design. Combining the craftmanship and minimalism of Japandi interiors with the rawness of modern industrialism, dark and dramatic features perfectly complement a neutral backdrop of natural materials and a gentle colour palette.

With a focus on longevity and comfort, every element of the design has been carefully considered to look the part and work the part. From bespoke joinery to durable materials throughout, everything has a hidden use and has been selected to create a stylish and sustainable environment. Features like a timeless palette, flexible layout and Troldtekt acoustic ceiling panels made from 100% natural, certified wood all helped HOP to deliver a healthy workplace fit-out designed to last through materiality, with a focus on future longevity, air quality, acoustics, and light.
