AstraZeneca UK’s commercial head office has a new workspace, spread across two floors and over 21,000 sq ft at number 2 Pancras Square, King’s Cross – London’s fastest-growing district. The scheme was designed and delivered by Ekho Studio throughout the pandemic, following AstraZeneca’s relocation from their former Luton office.
With an overarching ethos for a healthier, more comfortable and productive workspace, Ekho Studio implemented numerous settings across the floorplan including a variety of meeting rooms and space for yoga, pilates and mindfulness classes.
The material palette throughout focuses on warmth and comfort, and natural timber materials form the basis – accentuated by monolithic concrete flooring, tactile wall renders, rich hues, pastel colour tones, live planting and carefully selected artwork for inspiration.
