Argentinian restaurant group, Gaucho, has expanded its restaurant empire with a new site on Liverpool’s historic Water Street. Housed within a Grade II Listed former banking hall, the restaurant has had a compelling interior design scheme implemented that is influenced by the grandeur of the heritage architecture; drawing parallels to the colonial style buildings found within South America.
Split across the two floors, the site hosts an opulent lounge and dining area, intimate PDR spaces, a dynamic beef counter and a central glowing island bar that lights up the room with a performance space on top for mesmerising creative acts. The concept and ambience created draw inspiration from the passion-fuelled tango clubs that bring the streets alive at night in Buenos Aires, evoking an urban reflection of the Gaucho DNA.
