Post-pandemic, the Ombudsman Services wanted to refresh their workspace to tempt employees back into the office, increase work collaboration and reflect workers’ flexible requirements. The client wanted to include everything under one roof required by staff to ensure they could make the most out of their day at work.
Penketh Group approached DAY Interior Design to help them with the concept, delivery, furniture and finishes selection for Ombudsman. This included a full refurbishment of their reception, a new gym facility complete with changing rooms, a bar, a new business suite, and a flexible conference/event space. DAY’s aim was to provide a welcoming and active environment with a variety of spaces for both task-driven and social activities, and to create an open and contemporary space to attract users whilst being practical.
