Conran and Partners – Park Hyatt, Jakarta

Winner

Mixology23 Project of the Year: Hotel

Project Team

  • MNC Land, Park Hyatt, Saniharto, Spectra One, Konstal, Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Son

A new landmark hotel in the heart of Jakarta, Park Hyatt is inspired by the natural beauty and traditional craft of Indonesia, combined with the contemporary diverse and culture of its capital. Of the range of hotel brands under the Hyatt’s umbrella, Park Hyatt in Jakarta is the most luxurious and contemporary.

Conran and Partners were appointed to design the interiors of Park Hyatt’s new hotel set within a landmark tower, developed by MNC Land. The hotel occupies the first three and the uppermost 17 floors of the 37-storey tower. Conran and Partners’ design includes the interiors of over 220+ guest rooms and suites, including a variety of food and beverage spaces, a pool, fitness centre and full-service spa plus a three-storey function and ballroom facility. The practice paid tribute to modern Jakarta as well as Indonesia’s natural beauty in their design approach with elements such as lava stone, copper, intricate wood carvings and shields, traditional crafts as well as other indigenous natural materials, all sourced from local artisans and suppliers.
