The Saint & Sinner is a new bespoke, and vibrant pub for St Albans. Concorde BGW have worked with their client to transform a previous Nationwide building society branch into a stylish pub and restaurant bursting with charm and historical features. The concept of the pub has been based on the new name and branding that Concorde BGW created, ‘the Saint & Sinner’, reflecting the dual aspects of the location. During the day, the ‘Saint’ aspect of the pub comes into its own, with customers ordering food in a light-hearted and airy environment. ‘Saint’ is also a nod to the city of St Albans and its history. By night, the ‘Sinner’ aspect is shown, with a more drinks-based “high energy” atmosphere. Utilising subtle colour changes, lighting, and original memorabilia to layer the depth to this concept Concorde BGW have created a flexible but decadent, dining and drinking space.
