El Pastor Soho is the newest member of the Pastor family of taquerias; bringing tacos, tostadas, mezcal and fiesta spirit to London’s lively West End.
The buzzy, colourful restaurant and bar has an eclectic feel, mixing rustic wood and leather furnishings with bright, vivid colours. It includes iconic motifs and traditional décor from Mexico City, with the functionality of a restaurant and bar space.
The ground floor transports you to the faded grandeur of many of the late 19th Century buildings of Mexico City. The use of specialist decorations from stucco-effect distressed plaster to hand-drawn authentic archways and ceiling fans turning lazily above brass-rimmed tables transport you to colonial Mexican city.
El Pastor is full of contemporary surprises, from lightbox windows with views of Mexico City to the incredible feature neon on the staircase to the basement bar.
