AQA’s Manchester Head Office underwent a transformative refurbishment to create a dynamic hybrid workspace, embodying the “Destination Office” concept. The project, led by Claremont in collaboration with AQA’s Head of Facilities and Arcadis project managers, focused on crafting a flexible and inspiring environment that accommodates AQA’s changing headcount and supports hybrid working. Key features include 300 dedicated desks, 240 hot desks, 45 meeting rooms and 10 breakout spaces, all designed to foster collaboration, well-being and creativity. Biophilic design elements, like 120 meters of indoor planting, enhance the office’s ambiance and promote employee health. The space also includes a fully serviced restaurant, a gym, and quiet pods for focused work.
