CDS Wilman’s visionary design for Baker’s Corner at Milton Keynes’ Unity Place blends community, sustainability and functionality. Drawing inspiration from an earthy palette with vibrant accents, the space is crafted in collaboration with eco-conscious suppliers and local artisans, ensuring environmental integrity in every detail. One of these unique features is the use of surplus bread, which is repurposed in the on-site microbrewery, championing sustainability as well as supporting charitable causes combating food waste. The scheme also features dedicated areas for workshops, ensuring that Baker’s Corner is not just a bakery and cafe but a vibrant, adaptable space providing social and educational experiences.
