The past year has been buildgen’s most succesful yet. We have expanded our team and taken on work through adopting more efficient ways of working – with focus shifted from not only CAT B Design and Build contract delivery methods but also to traditional CAT A and CAT A+ tendering processes. This has resulted in our portfolio consisting of a diverse range of projects across these fields.
In the last 12 months buildgen has maintained CHAS certification and has gained SafeContractor certification too. In addition, buildgen is now ’ISO 9000 Quality Management’, ’ISO 14000 Environmental Management’ and ’ISO 45001 Health & Safety’ accredited. We believe these accreditations are exceptionally important as, alongside putting processes and procedures in place, we can now document and prove the sustainable efforts that we are going to to create environmentally focused projects. By aquiring the ISO accreditation, we will not only be holding the bg. team accountable but also our subcontractors with regards to management, sustainability and health and safety on site. In addition, 9001, 14001 & 45001 means that we now qualify for many more tender oportunities which will bring in a substantial ammount of new work.”
