This superb project by buildgen. involved a host of beautiful and innovitive design details. From the statement marble wall entrance, to the subtle arched theme that resonates throughout the office, to the carefully curated accessories and lighting. In true bg. fashion, the efficiency of the space was never compromised, the office was installed with a complex mechanical system, a tailor made AV design and a sophisticated lighting design. This project was a an honour to design, as the team were given free reign to create their vision and gained complete trust with the client.

The brief specified a homely yet efficient open plan, this was achieved through back-lit panels (helping ambiance/acoustics), oak veneer sit-stand desks (providing a tactile quality) and oatmeal coloured desk dividers (providing a fuctional/residential look). This area also hosts a collaboration area with an acoustic curtain blocking the space off when required. When specifying products/finishes, the team consulted both suppliers and subcontractors ensuring they are choosing environmentally sensitive options. buildgden. installed cork flooring to all FOH and circulation spaces due to its acoustic and sustainable qualities: ‘Corkform’, which is part of Quadrant’s ‘Climate+’ Collection, is PVC free and a completely natural raw material.
