Text provided by design practice.

Bridge Architects’ renovation of Forty Princess Street comprised a rigorous refurbishment of two derelict, adjacent Grade II Listed buildings: Eastern House and Langley Buildings, both former shipping and textile warehouses. Many of the buildings’ historic features had been lost or severely damaged, meaning all design and detailing was specific to the architectural features of each floor plate. The re-invented spaces include a new reception, customer lounge, refreshment area, meeting room and communal areas, facilitating quiet working, collaboration and community. Reconfigured basement levels provide end of trip facilities for active travel, with cycle parking, showers and changing facilities and an independently accessed space for a gym operator.
